In short, Memorial is a Gospel-Centered Church that believes Jesus is everything and through faith/belief/trust in Jesus we pursue following Him together as one family. We believe that God places His people together in the context of a local body of believers (His church), not by accident, but for the Spirit-empowered purpose of glorifying Him through repenting and believing the Gospel of His son, Jesus Christ. Through His church we see His kingdom come and His will being done as He makes all creation right and new. In all we do we seek to worship the Lord passionately, connect with each other authentically, grow to know the Lord deeply, and go and share the gospel boldly as One Body in Christ.

What are you afraid of? The birth of Jesus is the death of misplaced, chaotic fear! Romans 5:1-2, 5 "Therefore, since we have been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. 2 Through him we have also obtained access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and we rejoice in hope of the glory of God… 5 and hope does not put us to shame, because God's love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us." We are built to be together- Brothers and Sisters redeemed and unified in Christ into an eternal community! "But to all who did receive him, who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God, 13 who were born, not of blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of God." 
"What does loneliness tell us? Be it chronic or acute, slight or significant, loneliness is proof of our relational design. At the core of our being is this truth --- we are designed for and defined by our relationships… We were born with a relentless longing to participate in the lives of others. Fundamentally, we are relational souls. We cannot NOT be relational... All reality is relational. God has a life giving relationship with the universe. What does it mean for the Holy Spirit to be given to us and our hearts to FLOW with LIVING WATER?!
