In short, Memorial is a Gospel-Centered Church that believes Jesus is everything and through faith/belief/trust in Jesus we pursue following Him together as one family. We believe that God places His people together in the context of a local body of believers (His church), not by accident, but for the Spirit-empowered purpose of glorifying Him through repenting and believing the Gospel of His son, Jesus Christ. Through His church we see His kingdom come and His will being done as He makes all creation right and new. In all we do we seek to worship the Lord passionately, connect with each other authentically, grow to know the Lord deeply, and go and share the gospel boldly as One Body in Christ.

Join us as we are considering and wrestling with what Jesus teaches about marriage, divorce, singleness and other challenging topics in His Sermon on the Mount.Let us all climb down from our perceived favorable positions in society or what we think we have earned through living the life we think is perfectly right and righteous.

As we discuss these things and move forward together, remember Jesus words: Matthew 22:34-40
“You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. 38 This is the great and first commandment. And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself. On these two commandments depend all the Law and the Prophets.”

👀 What does Jesus have to say about sex and sexual desire? 👀
Jesus cares deeply about the movies we play in our head that capture others, belittle them and use them for our own satisfaction and gratification. This is NOT what we were created for and goes against the image He created us in- to LOVE the Lord and to LOVE others.
What do we do with these desires? How are we to think about them?
