Memorial is a Gospel-Centered Church We believe that God places His people together in the context of a local body of believers (His church), not by accident, but for the Spirit-empowered purpose of glorifying Him through repenting and believing the Gospel of His son, Jesus Christ. Through His church we see His kingdom come and His will being done as He makes all creation right and new. In all we do we seek to worship the Lord passionately, connect with each other authentically, grow to know the Lord deeply, and go and share the gospel boldly as One Body in Christ.

Tuesday Dec 24, 2019
Tuesday Dec 24, 2019
Love is always defined as commitment and sacrifice. God models this by providing us Jesus and His sacrifice for our sins. We always know that God is committed to us by forming and shaping us into the image of Christ. This refining process is done in Love and builds our faithfulness and trust in our Heavenly Father.

We may be able to find enjoyment in special events, accomplishments, and material possessions but these things are finite. We should seek joy in the eternal. In Luke:10 Jesus tells us to rejoice that our names are written in heaven. This is our joy, that we have a place prepared for us, living forever with the Lord God. Is your name written in heaven?

God is the source and supplier of our hope. We put our faith in a God that will one day make all things new, in Christ. Our struggle is that we tend to put our hope in the probabilities of life and the things we think we control. May we continue to strive together each moment to place our hope in the only one who can hold it eternally. May we hope in Jesus Christ. How are you placing your hope in Jesus this season? How can we help you?

Mark 15 - The Crucifixion of Christ
Tuesday Nov 12, 2019
Tuesday Nov 12, 2019
Mark 15 is the climax of the Gospel narrative with the crucifixion and death of Christ. It is at Calvary, God's love shown and His justice is served, by not sparing his son Jesus. Jesus' sacrifice was the atonement for all of the injustice and sin humans have plagued this world with, but because we have a Heavenly Father that truly loves us he spared us by casting our judgment on His Son. It is through Jesus' blood we are made pure and can now stand boldly before the throne of God.

Mark 11 - The Triumphal Entry
Wednesday Nov 06, 2019
Wednesday Nov 06, 2019
Do you follow Jesus for who He truly is or what we have tweaked Him to comfortably be? Jesus, his ways and his teachings often go against what we would expect. They are counterintuitive and often counter-cultural. In Mark 11 Jesus enters Jerusalem very differently than normal kings and goes to the temple only to flip tables and call it a den of robbers! What do these things mean and how do they apply to us?
